Happy New Year

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 2008 is here!!

Happy New Year to all my friends and those who read my blog.

A little bit update for the coming New Year (it's still eve here in SF), just had lunch at our favorite HK cafe on Noriega and talked to this interview guy on the phone. It was alright but we had to reschedule to chat more. Gawd, I dun understand the interview system over here. Ok, yeah I know that it is useful to filter out those "incompatible" candidates for the job but isn't difficult to tell how a person is unless you see that person face to face? Sigh..

Ok on merrier news, tonight we are going out to ferry building to usher in the new 2008 ya'll!

Recap on location for those who live in San Francisco and planning to go out to see fireworks tonight, the information:

Place: Ferry Terminal
Time:11.59 and 59seconds (^P^)
Bart information: Free from 8pm onwards to 5am

To avoid any congestions, it is advised that everyone should take advantage of the muni system because it is FREE from 8pm onwards. You guys can go out and have dinner ala france for few hours and then walk to the terminal. Restaurants recommended nearby (non-french) are Gordon Biersch, Palomino, Chaya, Waterfront and a lot more...........

I'm not endorsed by opentable but try it, it's good to have reservations!

Good Luck and Happy New Year folks!!!!

Michael "deformed" Jackson

Oh ya did you guys read about Michael Jackson's lips falling apart? EWWWWWWWWWWWW

Post-Christmas

Received a letter in the mail today. Ho ho ho! Paris is sending me and Gary free accommodation for 3 days!!! Yipppeeeee!!! It's for next month and on certain dates.

I'm not going to talk about jobs or interviews. Trying to steer my mind away from this for a while. What's better to do now than to go shop for stuff. Woke up at 6am on Boxing Day to prepare myself for shopping. Was a bit late when we got to downtown cuz most of the additional 50% off stuff were already gone. :( What a bummer! Managed to stop by Benetton and bought whole bunch of stuff! I got 5 pieces within 30 minutes! Whooootttt! I got all the stuff for additional 50%! We had so little time to shop that morning cuz we had to go to Thunder Valley (Casino) with Grandpa. But I got what I wanted, so, it's fine. We continued our shopping spree today and I got a pair of Lucky jeans and Gary got his New Year's eve attire, a sweater, jeans and shoes. I'm starting to like Lucky a lot especially when everything is 50% off. ^-^ Nordstrom is really weird cuz there's not much sale for women but they got whole bunch of things on sale for men! How unfair! I was really looking forward to shopping at Nordstrom.

Anyway, damage has been done to my bank account. Well, I can always return some of the stuff which I don't need later on. So it's all good.

I ate so much for the past few days. We went for buffet on Xmas day, pretty much spent 3 hours being a glutton. Before that, we had no where to go so we went to fisherman's wharf to join the crowd. It was quite a relaxing Christmas this year. Last year I think I did spend a really boring Xmas without doing anything.

Let's pray that next year is going to be better and of course me with a job.

After shopping....

Me and my favorite fish, blackie!

Blackie has a tank mate and her name is Reddie. After one tragic incident, they both lost one of their eyes. Don't ask me why because I'm not sure what happened. I think it was gas leak and they got really sick. Fungus ate it. I was trying to save them for almost 3 weeks, giving them antibiotics and caring for them like my own babies. I lost two fishy during that period and I have had those two for a long time. Now I got these two, reddie and blackie, and another pleco named Fat Long. I almost lost hope when they did not seem to recover. Very lifeless, always hiding at the bottom and I was really sad. But I told myself not to give up that easily. So I nurtured them. Gave them the medicines they needed and did water change. Read about their illness. Finally, now they are eating again and swimming so happily! =)

The moral of the story, we must not give up too easily because as long as you have hope, there's always chance for things to turnaround.

How's your xmas shopping?

Sweeney Todd

Skunk looking Depp

Just came back from another Tim Burton brainchild movie! Sweeney Todd rocks! It's a combination of everything. Revenge, love, violence, comedy! Tim Burton did it again. He convinced me once again that his movie is worth that 10 bucks I spent.

A recap of the movie:

A sailor, Sweeney Todd came back to London to seek revenge from a judge whom took away his wife and basically his happiness. Then he went back to the place he used to live and met this owner of the pie shop operating downstairs from his old place, by the name of Mrs.Lovett. Mrs.Lovett took him in and she allowed him to use his old place to operate a barber shop, Todd's occupation before he became a sailor. He killed his first customer who was trying to blackmail him as he knew his real identity. That's when provoked the killings of others and how they came up with the idea of using those dead people as meat for the pies.

I'm not going to elaborate on the killings nor how did she make the pies. It was gross but in a way, comedic. You guys gotta watch this!

A brilliant movie for the adults. Kids gotta stay away because it's just too bloody.

Ok Im going to zzzzz now..

Out.

The Time of the Day

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

Hey Santa, I've been really good this year

Splenda splendid! Just got the confirmation for second round of interview! =) Yippeee....

Was up whole day since 7 and fortunately it wasn't just another effort going down the drain..

They are giving me a week to come up with my presentation and also to brush up on my excel skills. As usual, it's just the first day of everything, so Im pretty calm and excited to adjourn to my next level...I'm sure when the date gets closer, I'll get butterflies in my stomach..

Anyway, the interview went really well...i was interviewed by three guys, one a bit older and the other two quite young...so the older guy was the first one to see me because he was the earliest of the brady bunch while the others were late that morning...i think nobody goes to work at 9 anymore...so i spoke to him for about 30 mins and we got someone knocking on the door...it was the product analyst intern, one of the young guys who was supposed to interview me at 9am...then 10 mins went by and the director of marketing came in to catch up with the interview...damn, i had to repeat myself three times! I started losing my voice because I was talking too much...so yadda yadda yip, the interview ended around 10.20am...the director told me to expect for another two rounds of interview and second should be technical where I need to show them my presentation (analysis) + excel skills...

I'm really grateful for this chance and if there's one really concrete reason why I would like to work for this company it should be that everybody's friendly there...I was even greeted by the co-founder of the company! Really impressed that he wasn't late...haha

So in this one week, I need to do what I got to do...+ WE ARE GOING TO TAHOE! My much needed vacation! =) I'll try to be really nice this xmas..so santa please bring me some presents hehe and also some good news...G-man is sick today so Ive been making fresh orange juice for him..the tally comes up to 15 oranges today! We really need the vitamin C and immunity during this time of year...so please take care of yourself and don't fall sick...drink more water and stay warm =)

Have a safe journey if there's a plan to go somewhere for xmas and if not, just relax and have a very merry holidays and xmas!

ho ho ho, sorry for lack of pictures....been busy...

Xmas

So how's it going? I'm in the process of sending out xmas cards. Hope the cards get to the intended recipients on time. :P

Let's not talk about other things except xmas. I'm sure downtown is packed with holiday shoppers now. I really like the atmosphere but there are some issues which are the shortcomings during season like this. First of all, parking. Do you know that it takes at least 30-45 minutes just to park our car in downtown? And add another 10-15 minutes to walk to your favorite store to browse. So that's like an hour just to get out of the car and do your shopping. Second, food, the food court, the restaurants are so jam packed with people that you won't have any other alternatives but to eat fast food. Even though fast food is seriously great and I don't mind the so called calories, it is still boring when you have to eat it all the time whenever you are out in town. Third is the line. It is the most horrible thing ever! When you are happily bringing your item to the cashier, you see a line longer than the Great Wall, you just have to tell yourself, "fook it"...seriously, that really deters me from purchasing. It's not helping when the person attending to the cashier is slow and always so chitty chatty with whoever that comes up to her.

I enjoy xmas. It's a really nice occasion for friends and family to get together. We have a small party with a friend on eve. So it's going to be one merry day. One thing nice about christmas is the special drinks from coffee places. *bucks is serving peppermint mocha/hot chocolate, gingerbread latte, eggnog latte and whole bunch of xmas cookies. You know that MAN looking cookie ;). Sometimes they have their *bucks entourage to serve free drinks to shoppers. It's really good! Don't really mind walking past them 10 times! =) They have some cheer pass now. It's buy one get one free. Good deal knowing that they charge premium price for their drinks.

Really missing Odie this year. Another year has gone by. How are you doing baby? Hope all is well up there.

Le sigh

Another day another dime...

The interview this morning was brief but informational. Got to know more of this "anti-virus" company. If I did get this job, I would have to put in 1000x of effort. In fact, I've been snooping at borders on web based advertising related information and found it to be exceptionally interesting. Did you know that google has a pet which is called "spider" to track what we click? That's where google AdWords from. Ok, I do not want to bore you guys with all those marketing jargons.

It has not been easy looking for a job. It made me a different person. At least now I know I'm still lacking in so many areas in terms of knowledge. Damn, it sucks just thinking about it. I know there's nothing called THE PERFECT JOB and THE PERFECT CANDIDATE but it's so depressing that there isn't any good outfit to match one another. You want it, they may not give it to you. Duh!

Oh yes, did you know blogging can be considered as a "skill" nowadays? It's strange but true! So if you guys are putting your resume together, why not include blogging. Blogging teaches us a lot of things which we don't realize such as those who love to play with adobe creative suite and help us remember all those english words we seldom use.

Finding a job is definitely frustrating. When you see a good opportunity for you to advance, all of a sudden, you don't hear anything back from the company. Le sigh... =( When you don't really want the job, that person from the other end keeps on calling you...what on earth?!

So what's going on with all of you? Working? Xmas-ing? Or like me, still looking?

Whatever that comes my way, I'm going to accept it...I'm not letting this one hiccup taking my optimism away...so stay positive ya'll!

im out, peace!

Interviews

Jebus, I have two interviews coming up next week....

G-Man and I were talking yesterday about stupid interview questions and how we should answer them, for eg:

1) What are your weaknesses?

That's for you to tell me

2)What are your strengths?

That's for you to find out

3) If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you want to be and why? (WTH)

I want to be a crocodile, so I can just swallow you alive right now

4) What do you see yourself in 5 years?

Sitting right where you are and with you no where in sight

5) Why do you want to work for us?

Because I need a job

It's actually quite true that ppl usually ask some imbecile questions. I am terribly annoyed by ppl who love to ask what is your plan in X amount of years...hello??? how would I know! If I'm that good with knowing the future, I should just become a fortune teller!

I had a good experience and a bad one for phone screening. Of course that bad one was from a F.E.M.A.L.E. biatch...

story coming up...

A Night of Fun Shots

Currently reading THE EMPEROR'S CHILDREN.

What a boring day once again! Went downtown to search for some excitement but end up just eating at Cheesecake factory. Nothing special at all. I carried my laptop all over downtown today. Felt like a dumb ass bitch. Geeeezzz....Still trying to add things on my resume.

I'm starting to wake up real late. Really really late. I was waking up around 8am but nowadays, it's 10/11....around noon time, my eye starts tearing and i feel like just knocking myself out. Oh my, maybe it's because I have nothing to do????

I've been dragging myself to cafes to stay awake which means COFFFFEEEEEE!! I'm drinking so much coffee that my system is starting to reject the caffeine. I'm drinking coffee as if drinking water! Caffeine does not even work on me now. Omigod.

I'm hoping G-man can give me some of his work to me so I can help him out a little bit. He's working on this deal but it's just another mundane deal so there won't be too much stuff to do. Damn! It's not even the end of the year but people are already having pre-celebrations.

I hope I land on something soon so that I won't have to complain but I'm sure, I'll complain of something else then. =P

Ok have a great weekend.

Shake me baby

Finally done with Shopaholic and Baby. Another fine read. Haven't been doing much lately, just slacking pretty much. But again, since when I've had a lot of things to do?hehe

I'm currently hunting for a marketing job and just got my resume updated this afternoon. Man, it sucks. Terribly. I just had a mock interview with G-Man at dinner. God, dinner time is for eating NOT some sort of mock interview session! G-man has been motivating enough though. He wants me to have a career, so do I. I want the money! I'm so broke after all the weddings.

I'm feeling the obesity bug hitting me again. Endless supply of bread which means carbohydrate intake is really high these days. I really need to cut down on that and stop saying there's always tomorrow to start my diet regime. I don't feel healthy when slabs of meat start showing up left and right. Grrrrrrr...time to start exercising again. Well, tomorrow of course.

San Francisco was struck by a 5.6 magnitude earthquake few days ago. Big one is coming. It's closer. I just need to dream it. hahaha I'm serious. My sixth sense is pretty strong. I'm no psychic but I can feel things. Scary isn't it? Back to the earthquake the other day, I was sipping tea inside a cafe when all of sudden I could feel like a Harley Davidson passing by with super loud engine causing the earth to shake a little bit. Little attention was paid to that but when the shaking went from some vehicle engine magnitude to super construction drilling magnitude, I started to look around just to confirm my suspicion. Everyone was looking quite jolted but no one made any action. I was already picturing my next action which was of course to hide under the table I'm sitting at. We were lucky because it was just a 30 seconds scare. The shaking stopped and I could see people were so mighty glad. Almost had to say goodbye to my pot of China green tea. Hella good, recommended. Not during earthquake though.

Oh the day became so long yesterday since we had to go back an hour. We don't need any time machine here, it's officially an hour behind starting yesterday. Ok guys, need to do some facebook-ing now. See you there.

status hair update

i wanna get new haircut!

Posting posting

Haven't been actively writing. I'm sick now so I'm just chilling out at home. Sometimes, randomly turning the laptop on to check on jobs. With Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, I'm really not motivated to work YET. =P Well so whoever poses questions on job finding, I just say "still looking". Omigod I'm so lazy.

Since I'm still nursing my health, we have no plans to go anywhere or do anything for halloween. Just staying home and watch those old TVB series.

ok im out!

Great Wednesday!!

After Odie's passing, it's been months of agony and pain. It's almost a year now. Really unable to believe that Odie's been gone for that long. Anyhow, life goes on. Now our life is brightened by another sweetheart named Gummie. We are his doggie-sitters!!!
Gummie is also a golden retriever, a puppy that's not even a year old. We take care of him every Wednesdays to sit in for his owners that are away out of the country. Usually he goes to daycare everyday, so, he's really sociable and hyper!

His temperament is so much more better than Odie though. He listens to us all the time and won't really pull us whenever we bring him out on the leash. What a charmer!
He's a little bit smaller than Odie but definitely bigger in the heart. Heard his breeder is really strict with the temperament and won't simply cross breed with other siblings. Ethical enough.

Ok I'm going for my everyday exercise at Golden Gate Park. Join me!

Out.

Boring!

I'm under so much stress. We are still waiting for several companies to get back to us on quotes etc etc. Stupid table linen will cost us $37.50. Why the f does it cost so much! Anyway, Gary's been arguing a lot with his parents lately. It's really ugly. Just today they had a row in the car. *roll eyes*.

As far as my own personal live, well, been shopping a lot lately trying to find the right dress for banquet. I've decided to get two, one which is "prom" like and another more mature look. Besides that, I still need to check on the hairstyle to match my dress. Yeah, it's so boring right?

We went to watch Bourne Ultimatum today. MUST WATCH if you been following the previous two movies. One thing that I really wanna know, did the dude that write this book got his idea from the movie JAMES BOND? Jason Bourne=James Bond?

Out.

Random

The piglet that I got from an arcade in london w/ a very tired looking me 3 in the am

Well,it's Monday again. Just another mundane day for me. The day started off with a hot cup of milo (must have) and cnn.com. duh.

Went to look at some evening gowns today.Hmmm...I'm not truly satisfied with what I saw but time is running out, so I must pick one from the "I forgot the number" of stores I went to. I have yet finalized on couple of things mainly for the banquet.

Gosh, I'm so terribly in stress thus why the hot tempered meme for the past few weeks. We were eating at his dad's restaurant when I had to "yell" at him for a small matter that occurred. I hope no one heard me. =P We patched things up like few minutes later though. He's in super bad mood too and constantly in whining mode. It's just like something out of the movie!

To all the couples that are planning to wed, I strongly suggest wedding planner. It saves you a lot of your time, your frustration, anger and pressure from the parents. When the parents ask you on the process, just yell back that THE WEDDING PLANNER IS TAKING CARE OF IT!

Ok im out.

Back

I'm back from my trip to UK. It's been such a pleasurable trip and it's good to rekindle the friendship again with my best buddy, Nico. It's been few months since we last met each other.

So, I've graduated but my life pretty much stays the same. I'm constantly bombarded with chores and it's really getting on my nerve. I'm losing grip of my consciousness.
Just today, I was again "pressured" to plan the itinerary for the 5-day trip to KL this October. WTF. I know it's good to plan early but it's 3 mths away. Hello??? Give me a break will ya! All they know is to throw the things at me and when things don't go right according to their very own standards, I get blamed. Where is justice???!!!
Man, I'm going to explode very very soon. This is why plan B comes into picture. Moving to UK, permanently. Yup, in a way, I am really trying to shy away from reality but when this kinda thing happens over and over again after arguments, quarrels, cold wars, I think I've had enough. I am officially looking for a school to do my master degree in UK. Besides, I love my freedom more than I love anyone else. =P Maybe I'm not a good candidate to become a filial wife and daughter-in-law. But WHATEVER. Go die.

I have so many pictures that I really wanted to share with all of you. The pictures are simply too big to upload right now. Maybe later.

Ok, I'm out for now.

Thanks for listening.

US of A

I'm back in US! With a pimple on my face..fark!

Wednesday, May 23, 2007

In 3 more hours, I'm flying back to Uncle Sam's abode. Will be waiting at Heathrow, London for 2 hours plus. It's not that bad considering I've waited longer in Japan few years ago. 6 Hours!!! I've done a thorough clean up of the room and leaving this lovely shelter of mine is definitely saddening. Guess this is part of life and just gotta brave myself in enduring this overwhelming emotions.

So I guess I won't be updating for few days.

Pics taken using photobooth. ;)

Flying on a jet plane

Tomorrow is the day I'm flying back to US. Weeee!!! Well, I'm going to miss Newcastle for sure. Actually it won't be a full sayonara as I'm coming back for my convocation ceremony in July. I was just checking out some of the places I could go in Europe before my full departure from this place.

Perhaps Venice? Heard it's so romantic and beautiful. I'm a sucker for romantica. hehehe and of course Marine's place in the alps. Since it's all pretty close and linked together, maybe I should go ahead with it. =) I was checking some rosetta stone language softwares that I can buy to brush up on my language skills. ;). Or I should just join the classes offered by city college in sf? Those softwares aren't cheap at all. It can cost up to USD200. Hmmm..

At the mean time, I'm listening to some italian songs. So soothing.....my knowledge of Italy stems from my uncle who was once married to an Italian lady (they have divorced) and my uncle been living in Italy for over 20 years. Maybe I should pay him a visit? I am definitely curious to find out how my cousin brother looks like. hehehe

Another thing which drives me to Italy is their pizza!!!! The best pizza I ever had so far was from Gordon Biersch which uses the brick "oven" to bake it to perfection. I think that can be considered as "original"?? Not so sure. Definitely have to see it with my own eyes. You know, I really hate pizzas that have been altered, in the sense that pizzas that are of "fusion" category. I know Gordon Biersch serves Thai chicken pizza and to me, it's much better to just stick to the original of cheese, prosciutto or sausage and good old sauce. Man, love it! A thin layer adds to the orgasmic experience!

I really should start saving up for my trip. ;) There are too many places to visit in Europe alone and most of the time, the cities are so beautiful. Living in US, we do not have too much choices except for some buildings, mountains and maybe casinos. =( Gary and I plan to make a roadtrip around US someday, SOMEDAY.

Emptiness

Thanks!

Oh man look at that!

My super super super nice classmate cum best gal friend!

Ok, Marine, let me say something here about our friendship:

It's been super great knowing you. You have your influence on me, hehe, positive influence of course! You are determined, hardworking and really a great companion for anything. I know it's difficult knowing that we won't be seeing each other again, I mean not as frequent, =P, but it doesn't mean we can't be friends anymore. Those strategy classes, the constant yawning, the ridiculous laughter, the group work (in fact thats how we got to know each other) and the days of kicking some asses, I will remember deeply in my heart. =)

Ok, this is getting way too emotional hehe we shall see each other very soon! Let's conquer Alps and of course the places that we wanna go. ;) Do come and visit me in US.

Random Crap

Oh man, I'm so "frugged"

I have 5 textbooks that I'm trying to sell, a printer and beddings (duvet, pillows etc) to give away and possibly some kitchen stuff too.

Exam was quite smooth flow despite the fact that I had to bear with a bursting bladder for 3 hours. Lesson learned. No liquid before exam, especially exam that takes 3 hours to complete.
Weeee, just another exam on Friday and it's going to be over! We have some activities planned out and dinner gatherings with friends whom I haven't seen for quite a long time. Oh, the exam on Friday is just an hour kinda deal, extra "weee" factor to that! ;)

I'm so freaking tired today. Came home and took a short nap before indulging myself with unhealthy activity of watching tvb series on crunchyroll. =P Life is good when there's no stress, just some pampering moments before dwelling back into the reality.

This Friday is going to come fast. I can smell and feel it. It's the beginning of another phase of life and all I can imagine is happiness. At least this is a good indication. I'm thinking of going to Vegas to Celine Dion's concert. Ahhh my idol. Her voice, my God.....God, you are so unfair but you been truly nice to her and indirectly, nice to us cuz she can keep on entertaining us.

Well, really been through a lot for the past 9 months. Ok, I've traveled a lot. =D It's been great being able to go to all the places that I've always wanted to go. Bought a lot of expensive stuff from Europe (*bleeding*). Living by myself for so many months (I've lived with G for 6 years before this). Quite an achievement you know! I used to be a spoilt demanding human being. Even though I knew I could do something, I just let G handled it. It's really that bad. Got my reality check now and from now on, I'm going to be independent and enjoying every moment of it. No remorse. A step I took to reminiscence and mark my step of adulthood. Bravo!

We bought a new SUV today!!! =) It's bigger, gas guzzling SUV. I know in times like these, it's not really too wise to be buying something like that but it's a Lexie so it's going to worth the investment. After all, toyota engine runs for a long long time and we don't plan to discard this piece of machine that soon. It's going to be for at least 6-7 years. Can't wait to plan our winter activities with this new cool machine! It looks something like this: (also same color, white with beige interior)

Yeah, another SUV for us. Actually I really hate small cars to be honest. I love cars that exert masculinity (macho macho) and this fact applies to my choice in men too. hehehe I don't discriminate but given options, that's my preferred choice.

So, that does another hole in the pocket. Dun really know how many more holes can we withstand with all the big budget stuff coming up such as wedding. Any "ah loong" (loan shark) wanna lend me some moolah?

Ok, just crapping won't promise any monetary returns, so I better go and start looking for a job! Anyone interested to hire me?

Ciao!

Mary Jane versus Cali Wedge

Friday.

Last day of class.

Exam is next week.

How do I feel? *-* Not really sure how to dictate my feelings but I think it's lost in the sea of freedom..does it make any sense? It's in between kinda feeling.

Nothing much happened today. Just some mundane grocery shopping with Marine and a lot of walking!

You know, I'm suspecting the girls here don't gain weight that easily because of constant walking. Mary Janes, slacks, hideous bright colored tops, this is the usual scene on the streets here. Thanks to Topshop, they are wearing those vivid purple, green or mustard clothings!! I must confess that I absolutely have no interests with British fashion!! Cali style is still better.

The clock is ticking and in less than 2 weeks, I'm leaving. I'm glad that my eyes won't be blinded by those vivid colors out on the streets once I'm back in Cali but at the same time, there's a sense of reluctance in my heart too. After all, it's been good old 9 months and it just went by like a tornado sweeping all the cows and birds out in the farm. Oooo boy!

Gee, guess it's time to get back to studying, three chapters tonight...Yeah baby! I can do it! Tell me so.....=|

Wedding photography

Maybe I should blog about the process of wedding pics taking that took place in HK.

The night before:

-had Vietnamese food for dinner with Dr.Dominic and family, location: Times Square, very delicious!
-had Haagen Dazs fondue complimentary of Asia Miles and delicious HK tong sui (black sesame with 'dau foo fa"), tar pao and makan inside hotel room cuz got harborview =)
-Had so much food, was kinda worried that tummy would show the next morning, but what the heck, didn't really care that much after good night sleep hehe

The morning before:

-woke up around 8am, damn, gosok gigi, out of hotel room to makan something first
-Breakfast buffet!!! =D Super yummy, I gulped down 5 glasses of juice, ya I got another stomach for juice, hehe...carrot juice, kiwi juice, mixed fruits juice, apple juice and orange juice! All fresh!Buffet complimentary of Excelsior HK ;) Didn't really eat that much except that they had those instantly made chinese noodles, had a bowl
-spent another 30mins minum kopi and chit chatting
-Went back to hotel room, got the stuff needed and back to lobby
-Taxi

On arrival:

-Some couples were already ready for the shoot
-One of the assistants quickly gave me my dress, asked me if i needed to go toilet, YES! arggghhh, bladder bursting
-Hair girl, Wing, extremely professional and very very nice! She helped me create the style to match with dress and my face, i asked for "simple"
-Gary forgot his shoes! NICE! (&#(JDNO@D*&@(JEJ had to hail a taxi back to hotel
-Wing was doing my hair and makeup for almost an hour, another nice aunty was helping her to curl my hair, my hair damn long!hehe
-Ready for pictures, I had totally forgotten about my groom, ok, he was outside waiting
-Met photographer, short, small with long hair, that's Matt, his helper, Sam (nerdy)

Photography session:

-Matt took a picture of me and Gary, asking us if we would like to show our teeth or not, took two digital pics to show us the difference, we opted for "TEETH SHOWING", i prefer more natural look hehe
-We also requested for more outdoor pics instead of indoor
-Okay so he click clack click clack, the first hour was very fun but after that, no more fun, my mouth started to feel numb
-We spent about 2 hours for the first wedding dress
-Next, a different wedding dress

So.........

-Ok, another hour of hair curling, makeup
-I was wearing a dress with princessy sleeve and different hairstyle (hair tied up like a bun) and hair piece with matching jeweleries
-Outside click clack click clack, different backdrop
-All of a sudden, Matt stopped and he was staring at my face
-He said the hair not nice, have to do it again!!! Arggggghhhhhh =S ok i respect his professionalism
-Had to do my hair again, spent probably another 45 minutes, Wing didn't complain but I felt really bad for her
-Hair done and again, click clack click clack
-Connie arrived, she secretly snapped some using her digital camera hehe (not permitted, guests not allowed either, Connie was an exception)
-This second dress, we spent about 2-3hours outside

Third dress:

-Ok, mouth cannot move, so tired
-Almost 7pm, duh, kinda hungry but didnt have anything to eat FARK, no choice had to drink water instead
-It's indoor time
-hair and makeup again and different dress (a gold dress)
-Almost everyone left already, including the workers
-Click clack click clack

Fourth dress:

-Purplish and pink dress, very girly hehe
-Hair and makeup, Wing had to wait until im done in order for her to leave, poor thing
-click clack click clack
-11pm, done!
-Eyes already started to shut
-Mouth really cannot move
-Needed some chewing gum

It's a wrap!

-took a taxi to happy valley
-had hotpot with Connie, that girl, she's really great, waited for 9 hours!
-Hotpot restaurant owner is To Dai Yu's brother
-Extremely hungry, bill HKD1500, Connie insisted it's her treat cuz we're in HK to visit, next time, when shes back in US, it's our turn =)
-gave the flower to Connie cuz there's no way I'm bringing that back to KL
-took taxi back to hotel
-didn't use the voucher for free supper buffet =(

Tong sui time again!

-Had tong sui again, hahaha, it's just across the street from our hotel, behind Sogo
-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz so damn tired

The whole experience, damn tiring! All I can say.....not fun at all, really salute those models...

Request Time!

Okay so here you go, taken by Connie, a friend residing in HK....

No, Connie is just a friend whom took the time out to accompany us for the shoot, she's not the photographer

We didn't have time to wait for the pictures, so, just this for now until we head to HK once again, possibly July/August...man, talking about being broke...sigh

Enjoy

Reno just last week...

Snowing so heavily as if we traveled back to Christmas time

Double whammy

This morning as I was enjoying my sleep, dreaming of the unnecessary, that f* fire alarm rang for two times! WHAT THE F WAS THAT! That thing is getting out of control!

The constant false alarm is making me a loonie! It makes me feel like the school canteen back in my high school days where the alarm rings and rings for two to three times.

If there's a real fire, trust me, most of the students going to be taking their time walking down the stairs and everybody ends up like fire charcoal grilled baby back ribs! Touchwood..

The stupid "alarm" clock

GRRRR....i'm going to kill someone now! That f""king fire alarm was triggered around 4am!

Quay Point seriously needs to get somebody to fix it...it's so damn annoying...twice a day, that's so not acceptable by my lenient standard

I didn't even bother to walk out of my room and just waited for the alarm to stop. Seriously, who says students don't need to sleep??? I'm going to sue their ass and act all ridiculous if this prolongs..man, I don't need the fire alarm to wake me up every morning...i have my alarm clock to do just that!

Living my life to the fullest?

Today is the last day of study week. So did I do anything worthwhile? In the past one week, I only left my room for one time. =S It wasn't voluntary but it was because I had to return some books and to stock up some food in order to survive the winter brutality.

Haven't been getting much sleep lately. My sleeping hour is messed up. I'm sleeping around 11am and then waking up around 4pm. The cycle continues. I can see my eye bags now. Dammit!
Originally I scheduled for 4 days of work and 3 days of rest. That's too much eh? hehe...but you know, this week, i only had one day break and that's because I was feeling dizzy from the red wine I consumed. So I went to sleep around 9pm, only to find myself waking up at 3am wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do.

I seriously need to push myself back to normal mode again or else, I'm going to live up to the name of living zombie!

Ok, I shall take a shower now, freshen up, make dinner, read, structure the questionnaire and go to bed! BAH!

out now!

Ewwwwwww

I bought the brita jug almost a month ago after a friend recommended that I should get it since the quality of water is not too good here. Look at the yellow line!!!Oh my God!

Imagine drinking those stuff =S

After drinking the filtered water, I actually feel better and the quality of water is really good and crisp. Best of all, it helps to get rid of the foul odor of the water.
