Xmas

So how's it going? I'm in the process of sending out xmas cards. Hope the cards get to the intended recipients on time. :P

Let's not talk about other things except xmas. I'm sure downtown is packed with holiday shoppers now. I really like the atmosphere but there are some issues which are the shortcomings during season like this. First of all, parking. Do you know that it takes at least 30-45 minutes just to park our car in downtown? And add another 10-15 minutes to walk to your favorite store to browse. So that's like an hour just to get out of the car and do your shopping. Second, food, the food court, the restaurants are so jam packed with people that you won't have any other alternatives but to eat fast food. Even though fast food is seriously great and I don't mind the so called calories, it is still boring when you have to eat it all the time whenever you are out in town. Third is the line. It is the most horrible thing ever! When you are happily bringing your item to the cashier, you see a line longer than the Great Wall, you just have to tell yourself, "fook it"...seriously, that really deters me from purchasing. It's not helping when the person attending to the cashier is slow and always so chitty chatty with whoever that comes up to her.

I enjoy xmas. It's a really nice occasion for friends and family to get together. We have a small party with a friend on eve. So it's going to be one merry day. One thing nice about christmas is the special drinks from coffee places. *bucks is serving peppermint mocha/hot chocolate, gingerbread latte, eggnog latte and whole bunch of xmas cookies. You know that MAN looking cookie ;). Sometimes they have their *bucks entourage to serve free drinks to shoppers. It's really good! Don't really mind walking past them 10 times! =) They have some cheer pass now. It's buy one get one free. Good deal knowing that they charge premium price for their drinks.

Really missing Odie this year. Another year has gone by. How are you doing baby? Hope all is well up there.
