How's your new year celebration?
Mine wasn't all that great to talk about, just fireworks and plenty of sleep for the first day of a new year. G-man and I been immersing ourselves in computer games lately. This is SO going to be temporary cuz it's always like this. By the way, on the first day of new year, we went to get champagne from safeway and I bought a winning lotto scratch card! Damn, 25 bucks cha-ching! Felt so great for winning money on the first day of new year. This year is going to be another best year of my life!
Due to my lack of sleep, my neck feels so freaking stiff. Adding to that, the storm is pretty bad over this side of the bay. Gosh, even that freaking bbq cover was blown away! Never found. WTF. The pots were damaged with cracks and the yard is so severely ruined. We were out of power for one day and only got it back last night around 9pm. We had no choice but to eat all the ice cream in the freezer and had to cook dinner in the dark. To add to our misery, someone random decided to knock on our door to give us a "power outage" scare! Fu&* jebus.
Another interview update, went to the 2nd interview two days ago. Did the presentation and the exercise given. I think I did ok. So they going to get back to me next week with a decision. Honestly, it's not the job or company that I'm interested with, it's the money. I'm so broke. Shit. Holiday shopping did some damage to my account. This dress, that shoe...i'm so in trouble now.

Happy New Year
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 2008 is here!!
Happy New Year to all my friends and those who read my blog.
A little bit update for the coming New Year (it's still eve here in SF), just had lunch at our favorite HK cafe on Noriega and talked to this interview guy on the phone. It was alright but we had to reschedule to chat more. Gawd, I dun understand the interview system over here. Ok, yeah I know that it is useful to filter out those "incompatible" candidates for the job but isn't difficult to tell how a person is unless you see that person face to face? Sigh..
Ok on merrier news, tonight we are going out to ferry building to usher in the new 2008 ya'll!
Recap on location for those who live in San Francisco and planning to go out to see fireworks tonight, the information:
Place: Ferry Terminal
Time:11.59 and 59seconds (^P^)
Bart information: Free from 8pm onwards to 5am
To avoid any congestions, it is advised that everyone should take advantage of the muni system because it is FREE from 8pm onwards. You guys can go out and have dinner ala france for few hours and then walk to the terminal. Restaurants recommended nearby (non-french) are Gordon Biersch, Palomino, Chaya, Waterfront and a lot more...........
I'm not endorsed by opentable but try it, it's good to have reservations!
