Happiness

Am watching this TV program with happiness as the main topic. What is happiness? Some folks interviewed on TV said that happiness means more money. Some said happiness means simply being happy. So, what about you?

I couldn't disagree more on the latter but what about money and happiness?

MONEY=HAPPINESS ???

Can money really buy happiness? Ok so what about when you had a really bad day at work and went for a shopping spree just to cure your unhappiness? And when you had a hard time at home and went for some lavish buffet? So now, you need money to do all those things right? Back to the same question:

Can happiness really be bought by money?

I'm not sure for how long I'm going to bore all of you with the stories of my interviews...

So last week on Friday I went for yet another interview....1,2,3,4....I'm not too sure how many interviews I been to now...ok anyhow, the interview lasted for about 35minutes..short considering that I been to longer ones...2 hours max! The regional VP was the one sitting with me in the room...surprisingly this time I'm so fed up with interviews that the butterflies in my stomach had flown away...They didnt ask me much questions, just a lot of talking on the role and what I can be expected to be doing..a little on the company, this company does online advertising, instead of the mundane static banner ads/flash ads, this company specializes in video ads..the idea is definitely refreshing and they been around for 7 yrs now developing rather rapidly..they have offices all over the world and the san francisco office has just been operating for ard 1 yr...so don't really see too many ppl or fixtures....i know this is going to be a challenging job as I am required to handle the marketing side of it + all of the administrative duties...pay is not really that grand to be discussed here...so conclusion, i have to call the VP on Thursday as requested by him...I'm not sure if I'm getting this job, HOPE I do cuz this is going to be a great start for me to polish on different skill set..

BTW, VP is donald trump lookalike...hehe...esp the hair part...:P

wondering when is the market is going to pick up again...

Wazzup for 2008

How's your new year celebration?

Mine wasn't all that great to talk about, just fireworks and plenty of sleep for the first day of a new year. G-man and I been immersing ourselves in computer games lately. This is SO going to be temporary cuz it's always like this. By the way, on the first day of new year, we went to get champagne from safeway and I bought a winning lotto scratch card! Damn, 25 bucks cha-ching! Felt so great for winning money on the first day of new year. This year is going to be another best year of my life!

Due to my lack of sleep, my neck feels so freaking stiff. Adding to that, the storm is pretty bad over this side of the bay. Gosh, even that freaking bbq cover was blown away! Never found. WTF. The pots were damaged with cracks and the yard is so severely ruined. We were out of power for one day and only got it back last night around 9pm. We had no choice but to eat all the ice cream in the freezer and had to cook dinner in the dark. To add to our misery, someone random decided to knock on our door to give us a "power outage" scare! Fu&* jebus.

Another interview update, went to the 2nd interview two days ago. Did the presentation and the exercise given. I think I did ok. So they going to get back to me next week with a decision. Honestly, it's not the job or company that I'm interested with, it's the money. I'm so broke. Shit. Holiday shopping did some damage to my account. This dress, that shoe...i'm so in trouble now.
