Viva La Boudin!!
I just came back from a long long walk..
Tonight is a really really memorable night because not only I got to shed some calories, I GOT FREE BREAD!!
The three of us walked past Boudin, San Francisco oldest bread factory on Geary and we could not help but to stop and check it out from the outside..we saw racks which were placed outside of the factory with freshly baked breads..oh yes, they are so fresh that I'm sure they could wake the birds from their sleep...hehe...
The smell of fresh bread is definitely addictive..
So three stooges stood outside and a man came out holding a ciggy greeted us. My bf was curious as whether the breads can be sold despite it's the wee hour in the morning. He attempted by asking the ciggy man. Not only he consented to our request, he also gave odie bagels!! Oh my, that glutton ate it within seconds. He had two for supper. =) The man came out with a loaf of freshly baked sweet sourdough and handed it to us and declined to accept any monies for it. Omigod, he's even sweeter than the bread!!haha...i was so happy carrying the bread from that boudin factory back to 32nd ave. The walk was definitely worthwhile.
I'm savouring the bread now and it is so so so so delicious and just couldn't find the right words to describe it.
Ok, I have to keep on eating. Afterall, I did burn some calories just now. It's time to top up. hehehe...=D

Viva Las Vegas!!
Honestly, if you guys want a good but economical trip to Las Vegas, try www.americawestvacations.com
I was surprised when I first came across that website. It's SO SO CHEAP!!Almost unbelievable :o
I travel 3-4 times a year. And the thought of having fun and enjoying myself with completely "no stress" situation drives me throughout my days and my life. Seriously, who wouldn't want to spend few days off without any disturbances, no cellphone, no pager, no internet (haha, this is difficult tho), just me and my hun enjoying ourselves, sipping cocktails and feeling lovable all over again? At one point of my life, I wanted to burst into bubbles of anger and enragement when somebody actually told me traveling is a waste of money. I was like, com'on, everybody needs to have some time off and relax. It doesn't matter if it is just 1 day, 2 days or even few hours!! But I don't blame "him" anymore because to me, people who do not know to enjoy life and live his life criticizing how people lead their life, can just go and j-off!! Sometimes you work 24/7 and you have nothing to look forward to, your life is sad, mister.
Nice nice picture of beach :)
Relaxing enough...just by looking at it
Wow, nightlife!! Yeehaaaa, Las Vegas baby!!
My hun and I are planning to go to Vegas again despite the fact that we been there for two times already this year alone. No no, we don't fancy gambling. We love the buffets!! The shrimp cocktail especially...(oh god, i can feel a drop of saliva..=P) and of course the endless slot machine sound. ding ding ding ding~!!
I am actually trying to go on diet so that I can go there and chow down!
Okay, hope you guys heed my advice. Check out that website because it's fantastically cheap and you don't have to break your bank AND to all those hardworking people, you deserve to take a break. Ciao! ;)
Oh, yes, we are definitely going to vegas again. So see you guys there!!

Anything wrong with me?
Just as I closed my eyes drifting to my own wonderland, I suddenly awoke with complete blankness. It's been like this for the past month or two and I'm not really taking it seriously. I told myself that it is okay to be like this. Everybody else has the same problem, I'm trying to convince myself.
NO, this is not right. Not being able to fall asleep until 3 or 4 am is not normal. As a matter of fact, this post serves as the proof. 4.10am and still up, typing depressingly. I think I am suffering from some kind of anxiety or sleeping disorder. I am making myself a total freak right now. Gawd, I'm so worried.
Okay, lets do a little evaluation here. I'm 23, which is still considered young, I hope. =) I have a career, I have a dog, I have a boyfriend. I have a roof to storm the cold, the night, the day, the whatever. Meaning having a place to stay considering living in San Francisco can be a bit of a bitch sometimes. Money? Enough to feed the three of us. Who says you can have all the money in the world?
Next question, pessimist or optimist? Definitely optimist. So what's WRONG?Did I overwork myself? Did I do something so wrong that God has put a bad curse on me?
Think...think..think...
My boyfriend always tells me not to thinkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk too much. He says I'm just being paranoid. I'm sick of hearing him saying I am thinking too much because I don't! That's the first symptom that I detected to be weird. My brain is constantly working but it is just not doing what I'm telling "it" to perform. I honestly want to put myself to rest but my brain is not listening!!Nobody listens!! I told a friend about this and he frankly replied by asking if I'm feeling depressed and am I falling into depression? How the hell do I know if I really am depressed and going crazy? Do I sound like I'm a nutcase now? I really appreciate his candor though but maybe my problem is not really that severe. Another friend suggested that I have to stop watching tv. True or false? haha..this is becoming a true or false game to me now. I think this is going to be a neverending saga. sigh..
Ok, well, I went to Costco after work today and had close to 30 mins to shop. You know, when you shop at costco, you are constantly looking at "cheaper" stuff and get all excited. So thirty minutes aint enough for a bargain shopper like me. hehehe...I love going to costco. First and foremost, for its ROASTED CHICKEN!!! hahaha..second, for PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES!! Third, for the cheap stuff..you know, cheapo..hehehehe..
Sometimes I would tell myself, going to costco is sorta like the love and hate kinda relationship. I love shopping there but I hate buying stuff. Am I a really confused person now?hehe.. No, because nobody likes to see the digits of their online statement go from 4,3,2,1 and to nuthing!!! I used to buy a lot of crap from costco. A lot. Movies that I wont even touch, games that I simply chuck it somewhere, books that function as my writing board...and things, just things that I keep sorta like memorabilia from costco.hahaha..Now being the wiser me,ya right =P, I tend to spend less. Spending a whoopee stinky 65 bucks!!!!$30 goes to my bf's razor blades. Ohkay, stinky razor blades. Curse those stinky hair that grow on people's face!!!!Yuck..
Yuck yuck yuck..does he eat his hair as well?
Okay now, enough of my ramblings. Im sick of it myself. haha..Let me try to get some sleep and stop picturing the guy eating his own moustache. hehe

A tribute to those affected by the New Orleans Disaster
Donate via this link:
https://secure.hsus.org/01/disaster_relief_fund_2005?source=drfhb4
As I turned on the television set today, I saw a dog paddling its way through the deadly water of the New orleans disaster. A boat passed by and the two men on the boat gave the dog a one second glare and then totally ignored that little fella. The dog still struggling to find a good dry spot to land on. Yes, it is that saddening and all the little creatures are left to fend for themselves. Their owners fled or some buried under the flood water waiting to be gorged and feasted by crocodiles from nearby lake. The New Orleans disaster has turned from one horrible disaster to another form of disaster, which is cannibalism.
Tearfully, I wished, I wished somebody would have saved the dog and now the dog is in good hands. My face was washed with tears.
Then, something really struck my interest. I saw John Travolta with his wife on tv, and then I saw Matthew McConaughey saving animals (he's my idol now ^.^). A man was trapped inside a building yet he would not leave. Why? Because he's a veterinarian and he has OVER 50 animals in his hand. That's over 50 lives!!!! I think he should be given some kind of award for being there with the animals through thick and thin. The animals are now rescued by the McConaughey team!!!I'm so happy for them.
Let us all pray for the New Orleans disaster to be over and for those animals that are still waiting to be rescued, hopefully somebody would be kind enough to just save them one by one, instead of seeing them die, one by one.
I think the words that came out of Celine Dion's mouth are really touching. Everybody should play their part. If you have money, donate. If you have energy, help in any way. Pack the food, pack the basic necessities, Or even go there to help!! Spread the words out. It was unfortunate that God has chosen New Orleans. Next, it may be your city. You never know.

Labor Day Weekend
So my last post was about a friend looking for a puppy...later on, he told me that hes thinking of getting one from the shelter or SPCA which is really really good and beneficial to the community...BRAVO!! This is something all of us should learn and follow as this not only helps making this society a better place to live, it also helps those poor animals at the shelter...
He's still keen on getting a beagle from the shelter and I asked my friend who has two beagles to give her comments on the characteristics and behavior of a beagle. Here's her answer:
(Sorry gurl, like I said, copy and paste..I hope you won't find somebody to arrest me for plagiarism =P) Okay, so cut my BS short, here it is:
Beagles are stubborn -- need to be more patient on training
Beagles are smart -- fast learner but smart to ignore your command.
Beagles love to run -- friendly but may bang on you when running wild.
Beagles are active -- they love to PLAY
Maintainence: 1/5 -- easy! Specialty: They HOWL!
When I read it, I was like "howl?" Thats freaky...hehehehe...A dog that likes to howl, in chinese, it indicates something fishy...oh well...
You guys can visit her website too www.justretriever.com a website dedicated to all retriever fans...it's really cool...Talking about this girl, her actualy name is Ying..she used to live here in the States and graduated from Michigan Tech..this girl is something I tell ya....it was unfortunate that she couldn't find a job that fits her here and she decided to move on and go back to KL...well it's all been good ;) She's now a happy yet sometimes grumpy =) woman....hehehe my everyday question to her "when are you tying the knot" =P
I had a lot going on today..tomorrow is Labor Day so everybody gets to relax and have an extra excuse to stay lazy for the weekend ;) We went to Marina for a short walk w/Odie..well he behaved today....actually sorta..we saw a German Sheperd and my dog went frantic!! He's a loonie..damn...he ran towards the GSD and I was so worried because he's a MALE CHAUVINIST! Meaning, he's really dominant and seeing him pee and poo-ing everywhere it really tells ya he's an ego maniac...at first, they were both cool and I was worried the owner might just freak out when there's another dog circling his dog....the GSD was definitely hesitant to play with my dog maybe because my dog is ill-mannered, just like the owner =P After continuous heart attack moments, my bf finally got a hold of my dog and pulled him away...
Me: Gawd, I was so afraid that Odie might just bite the crap out of that GSD
BF: Don't even worry, he won't
Me: ????????
BF:That's a bitch!!
Me: Sexist!!
hahaha, so ya, my dog is not only a male chauvinist, he's also sexist...and perhaps, he's racist too?Maybe..
We had nice cappuccino from north beach and some delicious pastries..
Nice weekend...=)
Ok, I hope all of you have a nice weekend and Happy Slacking Day...opppss..Labor Day..hehe
adios!!

Beagle? Doberman?Rott?Lab?
Okay I have a golden retriever and HE'S SUPER SUPER FUSSY sometimes!!And annoys me very much at times...but i can't just say "i don't love you anymore you super freak" when I gaze at his lovely and 100% cute face... picture as proof..
Oh well, my friend all the way from BC, canada is having his rounds of doggie hunting right now...he's still undecided and he popped the question to me whether which kind he should get..so I gave him names jack russell, labrador, bulldog, pug...etc etc...but nothing strikes his interest...oh...it's not that easy you know...looking for an ultimate companion..I DID NOT ASK FOR MY DOG..he just got it even before we knew each other...and when we first started going out, all of a sudden, he told me " I'm getting a golden retriever" and I was like "really?" but in a very sarcarstic manner...i love dogs..i really dog...my whole life, i've had different dogs..miniature pinscher, rottweiler,husky...see the difference? My dogs are all hella ferocious!!Especially my rott..he can take you down and bite your head off! I can still remember when at one point of my life my mom ordered a lot of furnitures and those furniture guys came to install them for us, the furniture guys kept on telling me to make sure that my dog is safely caged in his kennel....it was really funny...well, as long as you guys behave, you'll be alrite, i told them that...don't even dare to think of sneaking anything into your pocket!
Oh so he got the golden...well, odie is not exactly what I would want him to be..he won't attack..he only attacks other dogs and that's pretty stupid..and one time, my bf's house even got broken into and we suspected that the burglar even played with ODIE!
Okay now, im tired of typing and I've got other things to do too...
well later chioz!
