Leona Lewis

I have always been a fanatic of music from across the Atlantic ocean. One of my recent favorites would have to be Leona Lewis. Perhaps you have heard of her "Mariah Carey" like voice on the airwaves. Her beautiful tracks such as "Yesterday" and "Bleeding love" are simply too amazing. Hope she can make it big in the US.

As much as I adore Mariah (it started ever since her Emotions days), I have to say that her new image is a spitting resemblance of a white trash. Sorry my idol or perhaps ex-idol. I just hate how trashy she looks nowadays. What has happened to diva Mariah? She was so stunning and sweet back then. But now she has resorted to tiny weeny bikini that can't even cover her massive silicone cantaloupes. This is so sad.

Anyway, we got Leona Lewis now. A British singer who certainly has the "X Factor" to keep us listening.

Stinson Beach

It's a Wonderful World

I have a new mission. I need to lose 5lbs!!! Gee, didn't even realize I've put on so much weight. Went for a hiking trip last Saturday and spent more than 5 hours burning calories around Mt.Tamalpais. Haven't been connecting with the nature for a while, so, it was a really pleasant experience walking, running as well as frolicking on Stinson Beach. Brawny college hunks and some scrawny old men were seen on the beach, some spying on other bikini clad girls and some just chilling out on that warm sunny day.Me? A hiker wearing too much clothes looking all strange. After walking down the hill for 2 hours, we stayed at the beach for 20 minutes to pile on power bars and some delicious snacks.

Poor G-man had to carry MY Mountainsmith backpack while lurking 4 bottles of water and one bottle of Gatorade. Dang! I'm sure he shed more weight than me!

So we went up the hill back to the original point of our hike. It took us 2 dreadful hours and at one point, we had to hike on a pebbly and rocky path. There were no trees and the sun was shining on us with no sympathy. I almost fainted in agony but I was trying to put my steps together, one by one step of uphill climb and eventually arriving at a small bridge with plenty of big trees to act as shade. Thank God!
It was smooth sailing after that.

It has definitely been a worthwhile experience since I haven't been doing this for a while. I'm guessing we are going for a camping and hiking trip next month. Not forgetting Vegas baby! Till then, it's just going to be some same old daily BS.
