True San Franciscan

I never knew san francsico had so many flights of stairs until today.

As you know, San Fran is a hilly city and it can be quite devastating if you only use your #11 bus to commute. Today we parked our car somewhere near Lombard and took a walk. Not a walk but that was SOME walk! Honestly, I never been this tired! I think it was more like a hike than walk. Going down was no problem but climbing the stairs was heck a painful experience! But one great experience because if I didn't take this hike today, I wouldn't be a true San Franciscan.

We brought odie along and he was a gem. He didn't complain one bit and in fact, he was co-operating despite the cancerous tumor in him. For those who has been following, odie is doing so fine right now that nobody believes that he has cancer.
I've been monitoring his health everyday and feeding him raw, even raw eggs. We gonna fight this together! Well, all the organic groceries burnt a big big hole in my pocket but it's all worth it.

Can't really believe this

Credits to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yong_tao_foo

Yong tau foo (酿豆腐; pinyin: niàngdòufǔ; Cantonese: yong4dao9foo4, also Yong tao foo, Yong tau fu, Yong tau hu etc) is a soup dish with Hakka origins commonly found in Singapore and Malaysia. In Malaysia, the Ampang region of Kuala Lumpur is particularly famous for this dish.

Yong tao foo is essentially a soup containing a varied selection of food including fish balls, crab sticks, bittergourds, cuttlefish, lettuce, lady's fingers, as well as chilli, and various forms of fresh produce, seafood and meats common in Chinese cuisine. Some of these items, such as bittergourd and chilli, are usually filled with fish paste. The diner selects their favorites and they are then sliced into bite-size pieces, cooked briefly in boiling water and then served either in broth as soup or with the broth in a separate bowl. The dish can be eaten by itself or with any choice of egg or rice noodles, or bee hoon. Another variation of this dish is to serve it with laksa. Essential accompaniments are spicy chili sauce and a distinctive brown sauce for dipping.

The dish is popular among the health conscious people because they can select the vegetable items and avoid meat and oily food.

DIDN'T KNOW THEY HAVE YONG TAU FOO LISTED IN WIKIPEDIA...SPEECHLESS!

Mission Impossible is possible once again!

I went for a movie today, MI3. Well, explosive! Action packed, explosions, lots of em and a movie that's worth to drag my lazy ass off the chair.

It tells a story of Ethan Hunt (as if you guys didn't know) or Tom Cruise going through lots of chaotic moments trying to save his girlfriend from dying in the hands of the foe. Well, it's sorta lame but you know the story, the good guy always wins!!

Good ending, my type. I hate those sad ending stories. It's so ironic. Sometimes the leading actor/actress had gotten so much torturing that eventually he/she wiltered and died. So tragic! It makes me want to poke the cinema screen.

A lot of cool gadgets in MI3. I bet you guys must still remember the Oakley Rims that Tom donned during the previous MI. It was so darn cool that almost everyone had to have one. Damn! Advertising does work.

For this movie, there are few obvious ones such as Casio watches, Nokia handhelds and some tourism shit. Okay, the bad dude was using the coolest gadget ever! My favorite Nokia N92!! You know, it's not even out even though they announced the making of N93! After watching MI3, it all became crystal clear. They were waiting for MI3 to show in the cinema so that they can get bigger audience to know about N92! No wonder people so easily get silver hair nowadays. Waiting for a cool gadget to come out can be quite disturbing.

So what about N93?Which movie is Nokia sponsoring next?hehe..From the prototype pictures, N93 sure looks good to me. I'm guessing price range is around thousands.
Who needs a laptop when you can get all the functions in a small little guy.

Oh Nicole, if you are reading this, I asked Gary about your hard drive, he said you can buy an internal hard drive to replace your kaput one for relatively quite a low price. Have you tried looking on ebay? Just a thought. $300 is indeed too much!! I would slam the door twice as hard if I were you or drink more of those spirit just to make myself feel better. hehe..

Time to go to bed again..till then ciao!

Goodbye America, here comes an intruder!

Go away Britney, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson....goodbye to american pop! I never liked it anyway! =P

I'm a mean and neat machine

It's 12.18am. Sleep or not to sleep? 12am is still too early for me to wander to my monkeyland.

Maybe another 30 minutes. I am surfing the web aimlessly. Suddenly something struck me. The internet is such an immense medium of information yet I'm thinking of which website I should go to? Omigod...I must be losing my mind. Do you have the same problem where you sometimes just stop to think where and which website you should go to? Probably google can help. But what topic!???

I can hear people snoring. I have a friend whom can fall asleep within 3 seconds. How amazing is that!

Whenever I close my eyes, my brain automatically log-ons to unnecessary scenarios which can seriously cause deprivation of sleep. Maybe I sit in front of the computer too much that I'm becoming a robot? I need to fix my server? I need to reboot? Omifuukinggod!

I AM A ROBOT. I AM MADE IN THE USA. I WAS BORN IN A LAB. MY "PARENTS" GAVE ME A NAME. I AM CALLED DETONATOR. I HAVE THE TENDENCY TO DETONATE ANYTHING AROUND ME IF I AM FEELING AGITATED.

I want to be a cute robot =P

Shit..I guess I better try to go to sleep...hehe

GOOD NITE WORLD!

Vacation, where have you been?

I want a vacation. I'm aiming for one for my birthday in June. This year has not been too smooth sailing even though I've moved a step forward.

I just found out that I'm a freak! People pointed out that I'm so obsessed with the things and work that I'm doing. I'm putting too much focus on working that I tend to neglect everything else around me. I've definitely forsaken that there's a thing called "enjoy" while trying to accomplish an arduous task.

The world has changed. Just give me a computer (internet capable) and I can live without anything else. I eat in front of the computer, while I'm playing my PS2, I'm checking what I've sold for the day. I ship out stuff everyday while doing my research for my paperwork. I flip the browsers, here and there. I check the regular entertainment news while chatting with 3-4 people simultaneously. The world indeed has changed!

I can still remember I used to sit on a chair, with my food on the table and I ate my food bit by bit. No rush at all. Now it is totally different!! I eat like a monster or even worse, a cannibal! I used to spend more time in the shower but now a shower becomes a task. I need to complete it in certain time or else I'm doomed. When I cook, I don't think. I open up the fridge and put everything in a claypot or a pan. I don't even cook a proper meal!! What has happened to me!???Arghhhh...

This is a disaster. Well, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is facing the same dilemma. Now that Odie is sick, my life is more routine. But he's important to me so I gotta do what I gotta do to make sure he's healthy and happy.

My tuesdays are gone. Tomorrow (Tuesday) odie is going for his swimming lessons. =) So here you go, my simple yet chaotic life.
